Belle Bayliss
Bella was born on the 2nd January 2013, 11 days late. Luckily she was born naturally, and St Michael’s were amazing not pushing for induction – they did everything to meet my birth plan, and I feel very lucky that my birth went exactly to plan.

I went into labour at around 10pm, my contractions where immediately regular from the start, 2 contractions every 10 mins lasting about 30 seconds. I spent most of my time at home on my ball with a tens machine – and the time just flew by.

I went into hospital about 6am in the morning and was 8.5cm dilated. I have to say though the time went so quickly.

Once at St Michael’s I got into the pool around 7am and she was born at 10am. A wonderful experience. My waters never broke as she was born in her sack, which I hear is very lucky (or just quite rare).

I had a wonderful and pretty quick birth, I fully believe that the HypnoBirthing very much helped!
