About Homeopathy

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is the system of natural medicine which was developed in the eighteenth century by Dr Samuel Hahnemann. His work as a toxicologist and immunologist gave him a unique insight into the body’s reactions to a wide range of substances in minimal amounts.

A Homeopath treats each person according to their unique combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics and is based upon the principle of “like cures like”.

Homeopathic medicines are made from natural substances such as plants and minerals and are administered in minute doses.

Why choose Homeopathy?

One of the many benefits of homeopathic treatment is its safety when used as part of an integrated approach to healthcare alongside orthodox medicine and other forms of complementary medicine.

Homeopathy looks not only at the primary symptoms but aims to treat the person as a whole in a holistic manner.

Homeopathy is suitable for a wide range of conditions including:

  • Asthma

All remedies are pleasant to take and easily administered.
